Man, my stepmom’s been so rough on me lately… like, she’s always picking at me for the smallest stuff. If I’m just chillin’ in my room or even hanging out with friends, she’ll find something to complain about. She acts all sweet when my dad’s around, but as soon as he leaves, she turns cold. I honestly don’t get why she’s gotta act like this all the time. It’s like no matter what I do, I can’t catch a break with her.
Jeez, that’s messed up. It’s like she’s putting on this whole act for your dad and then shows her true colors when he’s not around?? Super toxic. Honestly, some ppl just get a weird kick out of controlling others or feeling like they’re “better” than them. She prob sees u as competition or some weird threat even tho that’s totally ridiculous. But it might help if u set some boundaries…even if u don’t say it out loud, just in ur own mind like, “I’m not gonna let her words get to me” type thing. Hang in there tho, you’re not alone in this, a lot of ppl have gone through similar stuff.
