ugh… my stepdad always picks on me no matter what i do. like, nothing is ever good enough for him, yknow?? just tired of all his stupid comments and yelling. i can’t even feel safe in my own house anymore 🙁 idk what to do…

ugh, that sounds awful 🙁 I can totally relate. My mom’s bf used to be the same way. Like nothing I did was right in his eyes, even when I tried so hard?? It’s so draining. Do u have a friend’s place or somewhere u can go when it gets too much?? It helped me sometimes just to have a little break. Or maybe even just find something that lets u escape in ur own room, like music or games or anything. You deserve to feel safe at home tho!! Keep standing strong, sending u hugs 💖

Wow that’s so frustrating. It’s like when they act like everything u do is a problem, even when ur trying ur best!! Why do they do that? Doesn’t even make sense, right? Maybe he’s just miserable himself and taking it out on u, but that’s still super unfair. Have u tried just ignoring him? I know it’s hard but sometimes, the more u react, the more they keep going. Maybe one day he’ll get bored and stop. Or not. I mean, who even knows why ppl act the way they do 🙃
