So my bf legit called me stupid today… like not even jokingly. We were arguing, and he just snapped at me. I’m just kinda over it at this point, but then I feel bad thinking that. is it worth trying to fix or nah?
Ughhh, I’ve been there before and it sucks 😞. Honestly, no one deserves to be called stupid, like EVER. I get feeling bad tho, cuz we always wanna give ppl we care about the benefit of the doubt, but if he’s gonna snap and disrespect u like that, is he even worth it? It’s not about fixing it if he’s not willing to see how hurtful he was. If he doesn’t get that, idk if it’s something that can be “fixed” tbh.
Yo, that’s not cool at all. The second someone starts disrespecting u like that, it’s a big red flag 🚩. I get that arguments happen in relationships, but calling u stupid crosses a line. Like, even when ppl are mad, there’s no excuse to insult u like that. I think it’s totally okay to feel “over it” cuz being called names isn’t love or respect. If he’s not apologizing or doesn’t see why it’s wrong, maybe it’s time to really think about whether this is worth ur time.
